Spanish inspiration
This clothing business was started in 2011 by sisters Charlotte and Cara who discovered a shortage of stylish, good quality children and baby clothing on the UK high street. Frustrated by this situation, they turned to traditional Spanish clothing for inspiration and, following a fact-finding mission to Spain, were delighted to find a variety of beautiful designs that were of very high quality. They brought back a selection of uniquely-made baby and children wear – and Dainty Delilah was born.
Initially, the sisters sold their Spanish clothing lines on a market stall but demand for the products grew rapidly and in 2012 they opened up their first boutique shop in Essex. Since then the business has gone from strength to strength with the sisters expanding their lines and launching a website to enable parents across the country to buy their stylish Spanish baby clothes online from the comfort of their own homes.
